..Christopher, Henrik and Patrik played in Bredbandet during 1999-2002. Björn, Christopher and Patrik had a common past in Manson Family and Smalbandet during the same timeperiod. The drummer Stig in Bredbandet decided to focus on guitar playing and folklore rather than rock'n'roll so Bredbandet (without Stig) and Smalbandet joined in the spring of 2002. Tjabbe was also part of the band for a short period of time but soon left and Magnus joined shortly after. Or you can also say that Henrik joined Smalbandet and that the group changed its name to Flaming Cows. Or you can say that Björn replaced Stig as a drummer in Bredbandet and that Christopher and Patrik exchanged instruments. Or that....... We got the name Flaming Cows by a coincidence. In 2001, Reine, an other band in Röstånga, considered to take the name Firecow or Kranium and decided for the latter. Firecow - which is a really cool name - was suddenly available and we immediately labelled our musical constellation as such. But by some strange reason the preferred name instead came to be Flaming Cows, which has caused us and concert organizers a lot of confusion. There has been advertisments like "Tonight playing: Flamingo Curls" or "In concert: Flaming Chaos". The members in Flaming Cows went to separate stables in April-08 and no, we didn't play country. Muh!
